State-of-the-art pressurized blanching and precooking equipment allows for control of cooking time from instant to 20 minutes, depending on your needs.

Freeze-dried vegetables can behave like fresh

Fresh vegetables are frozen immediately after harvest and can be warehoused and freeze-dried throughout the year according to your needs. Freeze-drying involves a quick evaporation of product moisture through controlled temperatures and pressure, resulting in a finished, dried product that keeps strong color, flavor and nutritional value. Upon rehydration, the vegetables absorb moisture immediately, regaining all texture characteristics, as fresh.

Vacuum-dried products have visual appeal

Using a patented Sensient technology, SensiPuff® products are cooked for a very short time at high pressure and then released to vacuum. This results in dehydrated vegetable pieces with strong color and flavor, which can be instantly rehydrated into products as good as fresh. Our patented process allows for the product to float in liquid applications such as instant soups. Because of the texture obtained after vacuum, 90% of SensiPuff products will float immediately upon rehydration, whereas air-dried or freeze-dried products will mostly stay at the bottom. This visual aspect is key to consumer perception.
